Manitou Mountain

While we did not make it all the way, we hiked in an hour, had lunch and hiked out.  Manitou Mountain trail leads to the top of Dickson Mountain, the summit of Calabogie Peak's Resort downhill ski trails.  It is one of the most admired local options for Ottawa area hiking enthusiasts.  While the whole trail is 4 hrs each way, we were quite satisfied with what we did - it's a fairly steep climb.

It was a gorgeous day.  Stopped at the Neat Cafe in Burnstown for a delicious decaffeinated coffee on the way home.  Hope to do it again soon.
